Food Outreach Canned Food Drive

Our Food Outreach canned food drive is on!

Food Outreach is a non-profit organization that provides nutritional support and enhances the quality of life of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS or undergoing treatment for cancer in 137 zip codes throughout the metro St. Louis area, including various counties in Illinois. Many of these clients are too weak to prepare meals, much less shop for food. Others lose their appetite due to the disease or medication regimen. Still others are undernourished because they are poor or because their disease has made them poor.

Please donate 3 or more canned goods to the Food Outreach canned food drive at Modern Vintage Decor to receive 15% off your purchase the day of the donation. (Does not include sale merchandise and cannot be combined with other offers.)

Preferred items are canned tuna fish, turkey, chicken, salmon, corn, green beans, mixed veggies, mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, peaches and applesauce, but any donation will do. Check the label! FRESH goods only, please.

Feed My People Food Drive

It’s FOOD DRIVE time.

We are hosting a couple of food drives. The first one starts now and all of the items will go to Feed My People.

They are seeking donations of non-perishable food items and canned goods (including baby food and baby formula.) as well as personal care items like soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc. Miscellaneous items like electric heaters, electric blankets, cleaning supplies and diapers are also needed.

Bring a donation of 3 or more items to Modern Vintage Decor now through the end of January and receive 15% off any regularly priced items the day of the donation.  Let’s fill up this barrel!

Modern Vintage is accepting new consignors!

We are currently looking for vintage (or unique) furniture and larger home accessories. Things we are always looking for include globes, rotary phones, bar carts, side tables, cocktail tables, sofas, chairs, bedroom furniture, dining room furniture, shelving units, etc. We offer a 50/50 split on what your items sell for.

If you are a vintage scout, refurbish and upcycle furniture, or always come across retro garage sale goodies, consigning is a great way to make some extra cash. We will price and tag your items, display them, and give them an online presence for more exposure.
